Chief executive officer
Our CEO Rikky Hasan was a Managing Director and a Chief Investment Officer at MAN Group (the world’s largest publicly traded hedge fund) which managed assets in excess of $80 Billion. He believes that cryptocurrency will be the key to future financial markets and that CoinLock is the solution to making that happen. He has stated “Through conscientious market scrutiny CoinLock identified and alleviates three primary pain points for cryptocurrency consumers: lack of utility, volatility, and crippling fees.”
Rikky also co-founded MTM in 2003 where he is responsible for the strategic direction of the business. He has considerable experience in corporate finance and private equity particularly in emerging markets. Prior to founding MTM, Rikky worked for Citicorp Investment Bank where he specialised in risk management and strategy and advised major multinationals on corporate finance and restructuring. He has authored and been technical advisor on a number of publications on corporate finance, risk management and finance and was a visiting lecturer at Durham University Business School.
Mr. Friedland is a Registered Trading Advisor and Principal of Fintech Investment Group. Working with technology and trading for almost 30 years, he’s been developing artificial intelligence trading systems as a professional trader for decades. He is an expert in trading, investing, and developing cryptocurrencies. In 2014 he created his first blockchain designed to be used in an approved commodities trading program. Mr. Friedland founded FinTech Investment Group, a member of the National Futures Association. FinTech’s goal is to provide independent investors with financial advice and technology for trading in the currency markets.
Most importantly, Mr. Friedland is the Founder of the CoinLock platform and has created, developed, and funded its production.
Chief operations officer
Mr. Holland is an internationally-known businessman who has over 50 years of experience in real estate development, financial services and the extraction industries. Beginning in 1969, Holland founded a real estate development firm in Washington, D.C. that grew to the 35th largest firm in the US by 1978. In 1980, Holland acquired a 22-building portfolio that made up the core of the historic “South Beach Art Deco District” in Miami, Florida. Holland has remained active in real estate development with assemblages and developments at the Washington Navy Yard (Washington, D.C.) as well as chief strategist for workouts in the US and Europe, including The Battersea Power Station. With over 100 real estate projects in gateway cities, Holland has extensive knowledge of finance, structure and government policies that impact real estate globally. In late 1984, Holland acquired the license and trademark of the name “Avis” from Warren Avis, founder of Avis Rent-a-Car, for financial services. Avis Financial Services developed as a currency exchange that was sold to Choice Money Transfer then, later, merged with Small World to become the seventh largest remittance business in North and South Americas, Europe and Africa. For over 30 years, Mr. Holland has participated at the founder-level in acquisition, investment and distribution for oil, gas and power stations, multiple investments in the 1970s, and distribution supply contracts in Venezuela (2000-2003), Ghana (2008-2017) and Nigeria (2005-2008). His network supports governments’ needs for population supplies and commercial uses, including blockchain, data centers and crypto currency mining operations.
Today, Holland believes that the CoinLock platform is the key to cryptocurrency real estate transactions globally.
Mr. Russell is a technology enthusiast and angel investor in the marketing, telecommunications, and cryptocurrency industries. He has over 15 years experience in information technology and is an expert software engineer with heavy experience programming in a Linux system environment. He is also a systems and network administrator with database administration experience. He founded Voz Technologies LLC, a fully automated affiliate marketing system and was the CTO and Co-Founder of Bleam Ventures, a VOIP calling platform until it’s acquisition 2012.
Director of marketing
McDonald has over 24 years of experience in financial trading, wealth management and sales. Before CoinLock, McDonald was Senior Financial Advisor at Aegis Capital Corp where he lead the investment strategy for high profile clients. McDonald has also managed both Nasdaq and NYSE member firms throughout his career. He has advised over 300 clients around the globe with investable assets ranging from $250k to $20 million.
Chief compliance officer
Julian Levitt began his career as a small business manager and segued his knack for technology and business into a successful sales tenure at Apple, Inc., before making the transition into Commercial Law. Mr. Levitt obtained his J.D. from Georgetown Law, briefly practicing Communications Law at the federal level in Washington, D.C. before making the transition to private practice in Florida. Mr. Levitt joined Fintech Investment Group as in-house counsel before proving his worth and eventually becoming its Chief Executive Officer. He has worked with Mr. Alan Friedland on developing Coinlock.app since its inception, advising on all business and legal matters related to the project.
